About Me

Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying)

A person of many interests, I bring a wide range of experience to the profession, which include supporting individuals (and their families) with traumatic injuries; violent offender rehabilitation; and working with children with developmental differences.

As a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying), I specialize in providing treatment and support for those suffering from trauma, grief, loss, anxiety, depression, ADHD, and self-esteem issues. I have experience working with clients from diverse cultural backgrounds and strive to provide culturally sensitive and competent care. Furthermore, I believe in collaborating with clients to develop individualized treatment plans tailored to their unique needs and goals.

In regard to my therapeutic approach, my work has a foundation in Narrative Therapy, and incorporates aspects of  various psychotherapeutic modalities, including Cognitive-Behavioural, Narrative, Solution-focused, Somatic Experiencing, Positive Psychology, and Gestalt. As such, I am passionate about helping individuals achieve their full potential and overcome life's obstacles by untangling the knots of thought and feeling that hold them in place.

In my spare time, I volunteer as a Crisis Responder, where I respond to and aid individuals in crisis through active listening and collaborative problem-solving. I also enjoy hiking, biking, playing with my dog Bongo, and being consistently disappointed by the Toronto Maple Leafs.
